This service is particularly useful for low-value claims, time-sensitive incidents, remote locations, or where travel restrictions prevent physical attendance.
Our remote surveys are conducted by experienced Freshtech surveyors through secure video conferencing platforms, allowing real-time interaction with claimants, representatives, or site personnel. During the session, our surveyor guides the participant through the inspection process, directing the capture of live video, photographs, cargo details, temperature records, packaging conditions, and any relevant evidence required for assessment.
All information gathered during the remote inspection is reviewed and analysed by our surveyor to prepare a professional survey report, including findings, cause of loss observations, and supporting photographic evidence. Reports are issued electronically in secure PDF format, with video recordings and supporting documentation available where required.
